One of the flagships of Sardinia Stone’s production and marketing is undoubtedly that of its slabs. The slabs are the primary product of the sawing of squared blocks (workable). They have the same length and height as the block of origin, and a minimum thickness of 2cm, to be  specified by the order.

They are marketed to large-scale distribution (wholesalers) or artisan or industrial companies specialized in the processing and transformation of stone products. Products which in turn will cover the retail market and provide the final products.

These marble slabs can be sold raw (sawn surface) or already worked in the main finishes – polished, brushed, honed, sandblasted, antiqued, bush-hammered, scratched, or combinations of several processes. They can be strengthened through chemical resin processes and reinforced with synthetic fibre nets, useful and sometimes indispensable for some types of processing.
